An Unusual Request from West African Customer

One of our Customers based in West Africa recently advised us of their requirement for a Used Outside Broadcasting Van (OB) and asked Meckow Ltd to source this item on their behalf.
The client provided us with their written specification detailing the onboard equipment needed and we started our search to locate the desired item. Following an extensive worldwide search for a unit to match their requirement, we were able to find a suitable vehicle at a European company, which with slight modifications met their needs.
After further discussions with our customers and at their request we arranged to send audio visual and mechanical engineers to perform a thorough inspection of the OB van to ensure the quality of the proposed vehicle. Following extensive testing of the equipment, the Engineers provided us with a full report, a copy of which was passed to our Customer for their approval.
They were very pleased with the report and promptly placed their order for the unit.
We arranged for the OB Van to be collected from the vendor and shipped to our West African client.
